On January 1, 2027, Infinity Bookkeeping Solutions becomes Versailles Accounting Co. Here's everything you might reasonably want to know.
Why the change?
Two reasons. The first is that Versailles is my own name, and after several years of building this practice I'd rather it carried mine. The second is focus: the firm is concentrating on nonprofit and service based businesses — restricted grant tracking, functional expense allocation, Form 990 and CHAR500 support — alongside bookkeeping and tax work for service businesses. The new name marks that shift.
Does anything change for me as a current client?
No. Same practitioner, same phone number, same QuickBooks files, same work. You'll receive updated engagement paperwork before January, which we'll walk through together.
Will my phone number or email change?
The phone number stays the same: 631-829-9275.
Email addresses will move to the new domain, but infinitybks.com addresses will continue to forward indefinitely. You do not need to update anything. If you email the old address in 2029, it will still reach us.
What about the website?
This site becomes the Versailles Accounting Co. site in January. Existing links and bookmarks will redirect automatically.
Is this a merger, a sale, or a new owner?
None of those. It's a name change. Same practice, same practitioner, same clients.
Are you accepting new clients right now?
Yes. If you engage us before January, you'll simply become a Versailles Accounting Co. client when the name changes. There's no reason to wait.
